Lekjaa leaves door open to further tax increases on luxury cars
Speaking on 2M’s “Saât Assaraha,” the Economy and Finance Minister defended the tax hikes proposed in the 2027 Finance Bill, saying further increases in registration duties on luxury cars remain possible if their numbers continue to rise.

Morocco to raise tobacco and e-cigarette prices starting January 1, 2027
Smokers can expect another price increase in 2027. The 2027 Finance Bill proposes a new reform of the domestic consumption tax (TIC) on cigarettes for the 2027-2031 period. It also proposes doubling the tax on electronic cigarettes and extending it to all product categories and related devices.
