A tribute event was held in Marrakech on Friday, September 18, in memory of historian Hamid Triki, who died this summer at the age of 82. Researchers and people close to him looked back on a scholarly career devoted to history and heritage, with a particularly strong commitment to preserving the memory of his hometown, Safi.
