Morocco is expanding its inter-basin water transfer network with a nearly 300-kilometer link between the Sebou and Oum Er-Rbia basins, designed to transfer up to 800 million cubic meters of water annually. The project is expected to strengthen drinking water supplies in Settat, Berrechid and southern Casablanca while providing irrigation water for around 176,000 hectares of farmland.
