Morocco’s National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) has unveiled a MAD248 billion ($25 billion) investment plan for 2026-2030 aimed at accelerating the country’s energy transition and strengthening water security. Presented during the utility’s board meeting, the roadmap focuses on expanding renewable energy, electricity storage, transmission infrastructure, and desalination capacity, with nearly three-quarters of the funding expected to come from the private sector.
