Fasting, prayer and remembrance marked Yom Kippur in Casablanca on Monday. Addressing the community, Serge Berdugo, secretary-general of the Council of Jewish Communities of Morocco, described the holy day as a time for soul-searching, but also one of “love” and hope for peace.
