Morocco lifts visa requirement for Albanian citizens on short stays
Morocco has lifted visa requirements for Albanian citizens traveling to the country for short stays, with the measure taking effect on Aug. 15, 2026, following a decision announced by the Moroccan authorities in 2025.

The bond can now reach $20,000 and applies to citizens of 50 countries, including 30 in Africa.

Starting August 1, 2026, US visa services will be discontinued at more than 25 embassies and consulates across sub-Saharan Africa and consolidated into 20 “regional processing hubs” located in 19 countries. The sweeping overhaul by the US State Department is expected to significantly reshape how African applicants obtain visas, requiring many to travel abroad for interviews and biometric appointments.
