Following the global success of The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s latest epic filmed partly in Morocco, renewed attention has turned to the Kingdom’s enduring role as one of the world’s most sought-after filming destinations. Long before Nolan brought his cameras to Moroccan landscapes, the country had already served as the backdrop for some of cinema’s most iconic productions. Here’s a look back at ten of the most famous.
