With four days to go before the Sept 23 legislative elections, the government has told public administrations and private employers to make arrangements for their staff to cast their ballots.
Heads of government departments, public institutions and companies, as well as presidents of local authority councils, have been asked to give civil servants and other employees under their supervision the necessary facilities to exercise their right to vote.
There is one condition. Public services must continue to run normally while those arrangements are in place.
The call extends to the private sector, with companies asked to make the necessary arrangements for employees to vote on election day.
