In a statement, the Chamber said the initiative is part of the participatory approach adopted by the CCIS-RSK to address the impact of the campaign to clear public spaces. The approach is based on dialogue, coordination and technical expertise, as well as support and guidance for traders and professionals.
The initiative aims to simplify administrative procedures for obtaining permits to use public property, as well as those relating to certain commercial activities, signs and advertising panels, the same source added.
The new one-stop shop will open at the CCIS-RSK headquarters at 1 Rue Gandhi in Rabat from Monday, August 17, starting at 10 a.m. The initiative will initially cover traders and professionals in the city of Rabat, according to the statement.
The measure is part of efforts to improve the quality of services provided to users and streamline the processing of applications through a single point of contact, ensuring greater efficiency and faster examination of files.
The Chamber called on all traders and professionals in Rabat prefecture to take part in the initiative and regularise their legal status as soon as possible. It also invited them to visit the CCIS-RSK headquarters for further information, the statement concluded.
