The DGM issued an orange-level weather alert for thunderstorms bringing 20 to 35 mm of rain, along with a risk of hail and strong wind gusts, on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the provinces of Ifrane, Khemisset, Figuig, Rehamna, Marrakech, Khenifra, Boulemane, Guercif, Taroudant, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Al Haouz and Chichaoua.
A heat wave with temperatures ranging from 45°C to 48°C is expected from Wednesday through Friday in the provinces of Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, and Tata.
