Morocco’s national futsal team will face Japan in two friendly matches on November 6 and 8, 2026, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Thursday, September 3.
The two matches will be played at the Karasso Bodokan Sports Centre in the Japanese city of Oita.
Japan are ranked 17th in the FIFA rankings and are one of Asia’s leading futsal nations. The Samurai Five have won four AFC Asian Futsal Cups, in 2006, 2012, 2014 and 2022, and have made five appearances at the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
The friendlies will take place after the 2026 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco from October 12 to 21.
