At 39, Novak Djokovic won the 102nd title of his career in Beijing on Tuesday after Australian world No. 9 Alex de Minaur retired early in the second set of the final.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion had not won a title since the ATP 250 in Athens in November 2025.

By claiming his seventh Beijing title in as many appearances, Djokovic moved within one of Roger Federer’s 103 career titles and seven of Jimmy Connors’ record 109 trophies.
