The last Marhaba travellers left Tanger Med on Tuesday, bringing this year’s operation for Moroccans living abroad to a close after more than three months.
The final passengers gradually boarded ferries bound for ports on the northern Mediterranean as agencies at the port wound down arrangements that had been in place since the operation began on June 10.
During Marhaba 2026, travellers were assisted from their arrival at the port entrance through to boarding, with guidance and support available across the passenger facilities.

The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which oversees the operation, also provided medical assistance to travellers when needed.
Several passengers leaving on Tuesday told MAP they were satisfied with both their summer stay and their departure through Tanger Med.
“We spent wonderful weeks in Morocco with our family and relatives,” one traveller said. “We are leaving today with the fondest memories and already look forward to our next visit to our homeland.”

Another passenger said her stay had gone “under excellent conditions” and that the boarding process had been straightforward, citing the guidance and assistance available at the port.
Marhaba 2026 was launched on June 10 under the effective chairmanship of King Mohammed VI.
