The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued the following weather forecast for Sunday, July 26, 2026:
Hot weather will persist across the Southeast and the interior of the Saharan provinces, with fairly hot conditions expected in the Oriental, Souss and the plains west of the Atlas Mountains.
Low clouds, accompanied by mist or fog, are expected near the Atlantic coast during the morning and overnight hours.
Skies will be partly cloudy over the Middle Atlas and the Southeast.
Moderate to locally strong wind gusts are forecast over the Atlas Mountains, the central Atlantic coast and the Southern Provinces, with blowing dust expected in some areas.
Overnight lows will range between 22°C and 26°C across inland Souss, the Southeast, eastern Morocco and the southern parts of the Saharan provinces, while temperatures elsewhere will range between 15°C and 20°C.
Daytime temperatures are expected to increase across the northern half of the Kingdom.
Sea conditions will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly rough to rough north of Casablanca, becoming rough to very rough farther south.
