The court also dismissed the civil claims filed by several civil society organizations and associations involved in the case.
The case dates back to June 4, 2026, when the suspect was arrested by National Police officers in the northern city of Martil pursuant to an outstanding arrest warrant. The King’s Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance in Temara subsequently ordered his pretrial detention at El Arjate 1 local prison after a video showed him cooking a dead dog during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The YouTuber, known for his controversial stunts and challenge videos filmed in remote locations and forests, found himself at the center of criminal proceedings after the King’s Prosecutor in Temara decided on June 7 to prosecute him on charges including “offending the Islamic religion,” “killing and mutilating an animal,” “threatening to commit a misdemeanor,” and “threatening to commit a felony,” in addition to other related offenses.
The National Organization for Electronic Protection (ONPE) joined the proceedings as a civil complainant, represented by lawyer Bouchaib Soufi of the Rabat Bar Association and supported by the “Zero Tefaha” initiative.
“Bn nsns” had posted a video on his YouTube channel showing him cooking a dead dog during Eid al-Adha. The ONPE described the act as “a serious provocation and mockery of the religious and spiritual values of Moroccan society, as well as a blatant violation of public morals and ethical public order.”
