Le360 visited Hassan II Park in the capital late Friday afternoon, where families, athletes and casual visitors were making the most of their free time.

One visitor praised the creation of the large green space, saying he preferred it to the beaches. He now favors walking and enjoying the fresh air there.

Hassan II Park is a 20-hectare public green space located between Mohammed VI Avenue and Imam Malik Avenue, near the Bab Zaër intersection.

Opened in November 2018, the green space in the heart of the capital features relaxation areas, children’s playgrounds and a range of sports facilities.

The park is equipped with several recreational facilities, including small football, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a climbing wall. A musical fountain, walking paths and playgrounds each offer features that are particularly popular with visitors. An outdoor amphitheater also hosts various activities and cultural events.
