Rabat-Salé Airport welcomed more than 1.21 million passengers during the first six months of 2026, recording a 14.8% increase in traffic compared with the same period last year, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA).

The airport handled 1,217,574 passengers between January and June, up from 1,060,480 during the first half of 2025, ONDA said in its latest air traffic report.
The growth accelerated in June, when the airport served 215,416 passengers, a 16.3% increase over the 185,231 travelers recorded in June 2025.
The rise in passenger traffic was accompanied by a significant increase in aircraft movements.

Between January and June, 8,663 flights operated through Rabat-Salé Airport, compared with 7,396 during the same period last year, representing a 17.1% increase.
Across the Kingdom, Moroccan airports handled a combined 18.83 million commercial passengers by the end of June, an increase of 8.8% compared with the 17.3 million travelers recorded during the first six months of 2025.
