Morocco international Yasmine Zouhir has completed a summer transfer to Real Madrid, joining the Spanish giants from Real Betis after two seasons with the Seville-based club.
The move, confirmed on Friday, marks another significant step in the career of the 22-year-old forward, who has steadily established herself as one of Morocco’s promising attacking talents.
Reacting to the announcement, Zouhir described the transfer as the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition.
“A dream come true. Today, I have the immense pride of announcing my signing for Real Madrid. Becoming part of this historic club is a dream that comes true today,” she wrote on her official Instagram account.
She also thanked those who had supported her journey.
“Thank you to everyone who has stood by me and believed in me throughout this journey. A new chapter now begins, full of excitement, hard work and ambition. Hala Madrid!”
Zouhir began her football career with Sainté United before joining AS Saint-Étienne’s youth system. She later moved to AS Roma in Italy before signing for Real Betis in 2024.
During her two seasons in Spain, she made 44 appearances and scored eight goals for the Andalusian club.
At the international level, Zouhir has represented Morocco at both Under-17 and Under-20 level, earning 12 and 15 caps respectively. She has also made six senior appearances for the Atlas Lionesses, Morocco’s women’s national team.
