Raja Casablanca and AS FAR learned the teams they could face in the second preliminary round of the 2026-27 CAF Confederation Cup after Thursday’s draw at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo.
AS FAR will take on either Chad’s AS PSI or Côte d’Ivoire’s CO Korhogo, who must first meet in the opening preliminary round.
Raja, meanwhile, have been paired with the winner of the tie between Nigeria’s El-Kanemi Warriors and Guinea-Bissau’s UDIB (União Desportiva Internacional de Bissau).

The two Moroccan clubs are among the teams exempt from the opening preliminary round, joining Al Ahly, Kaizer Chiefs, Azam FC, USM Alger, AS Maniema Union and CR Belouizdad.
The second preliminary round will be played over two legs, with the first-leg matches scheduled for October 16-18 and the return legs taking place from October 23-25. The winners will advance to the group stage of the competition.
