The disruption will run for 24 hours, from 11pm on Saturday, September 5, until 11pm on Sunday, September 6, ONCF said.
Airport and Settat TNR services will be temporarily suspended. Airport passengers will instead be carried by Supratours coach shuttles, while those traveling on the Settat line will be directed to Al Atlas trains.
El Jadida TNR trains will terminate at Bouskoura, where passengers will connect with Al Atlas services.
Khouribga trains will run only as far as Berrechid, also with connections to Al Atlas trains, while the direct Safi-Casablanca service will be suspended.
Al Atlas passengers should expect delays and changes to journey times during the works.
Wider changes from September 14
A second phase begins on September 14, when ONCF introduces a new transport plan to accommodate the next stage of construction on the Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed line.
The plan follows the first phase of works launched on September 15, 2025.
It will bring changes to some services and timetables, shorten certain routes and gradually close some stations, including Facultés and Ennassim.
ONCF said detailed information on the routes and services affected will be released during the week of September 7, giving passengers time to plan before the new arrangements take effect.
