The platform, whose name stands for “Assistant au Dédouanement des Marchandises à l’Importation en Ligne,” provides businesses and individuals with information on the customs and tax rules applicable to specific goods.
The new version allows users to search for a product by its name or Harmonized System (HS) code and access information on the documents required, applicable standards, customs procedures, taxes and regulations.
It also provides information on tariff preferences available under Morocco’s trade agreements and conventions.
The information is organized by product and its HS classification, allowing users to check the requirements that apply to a particular good before starting a customs procedure.

The platform now covers both import and export operations. Users can access separate sections for each, alongside the customs tariff nomenclature and other information.
A simulator for customs duties and taxes
One of the main additions is a simulator that provides an estimate of the duties and taxes payable on imported goods.
Users can enter information about their goods and obtain an estimated amount under either the standard customs regime or a preferential regime.
The administration said the tool is intended to give importers an estimate of customs clearance costs before they carry out their transactions.
ADIL has also been expanded with additional information on specific taxes and duties that were not covered in its previous version. The information applies to both commercial imports and personal purchases.
Foreign trade data added to the platform
The upgraded platform also provides access to Moroccan foreign trade statistics by HS tariff heading.

Companies can use the data to examine trade flows and their evolution by product category and gain information on foreign markets before planning import or export operations.
The platform also includes a customs tariff database, direct access to information on applicable regulations and circulars, and a frequently asked questions section covering issues such as HS codes, country of origin, import restrictions, licenses and required certificates.
ADIL is available through the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration’s online portal.
