Royal Air Maroc has unveiled its largest-ever summer flight program, offering nearly 8.2 million seats during the 2026 peak travel season as the airline expands capacity to meet growing demand from the Moroccan diaspora, tourists, and connecting passengers.
The program represents a 23% increase over summer 2025 and will connect Morocco with 86 international destinations using a modernized fleet of 67 aircraft, the airline said Monday.
The expanded schedule covers destinations across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
Europe remains Royal Air Maroc’s largest market, with 44 destinations and more than 3 million seats available this summer, up 22% from last year. The airline said the additional capacity is intended to serve large Moroccan communities living abroad while supporting inbound tourism from Europe.
In Africa, Royal Air Maroc will operate flights to 29 destinations, offering more than 1.8 million seats, a 36% increase from summer 2025. The expansion reinforces Casablanca’s role as one of Africa’s leading aviation hubs for both business travelers and passengers connecting across the continent.
The airline is also expanding long-haul services.
Its combined Asia and Middle East network will offer more than 524,000 seats, up 16%, supported by additional capacity to China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Across the Americas, Royal Air Maroc will provide 723,000 seats, a 7% increase, serving destinations in the United States, Canada, and Brazil.
Point-to-point international routes outside Casablanca will also grow significantly, reaching more than 890,000 seats, up 37%, following the opening of the airline’s new operational base in Tetouan.
Domestic services are also being expanded, with capacity rising 18% to nearly 1.2 million seats as the carrier seeks to improve connectivity between Morocco’s regions.
Royal Air Maroc said it will maintain the overnight Europe schedule and daytime Africa connections introduced at its Casablanca hub during summer 2025, allowing passengers to benefit from shorter transfer times and improved onward connections.
The summer program coincides with the airline’s ongoing fleet modernization, which now totals 67 aircraft and is expected to grow further with additional deliveries scheduled during the season.
“The exceptional program we are deploying for summer 2026 marks a major milestone in Royal Air Maroc’s growth trajectory,” President Director General Hamid Addou said in a statement.
“With a record level of capacity and a strengthened modern fleet, we are reinforcing our role as a strategic hub for Morocco and for Moroccans living around the world.”
Addou said the airline remains focused on improving the passenger experience through newer aircraft, more efficient connections, and enhanced onboard comfort as it pursues its ambition of becoming a leading international carrier.
Flights under the summer schedule are now available for booking through Royal Air Maroc’s website, call centers, commercial offices, and travel agency network.
