The government will take up six draft decrees on Thursday, including rules implementing legislation banning chemical weapons and changes to the housing assistance scheme.
Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch will chair the Government Council meeting on Sept 10, the Head of Government’s Office said.
The first draft decree concerns implementation of the law banning the development, production, stockpiling and use of chemical weapons and requiring their destruction.
Ministers will also examine changes to regulations governing state housing assistance and the procedures for granting it to buyers purchasing a home as their primary residence.
Another draft decree would amend the regulations establishing the Jorf Industrial Acceleration Zone.

Three texts concern higher education.
One sets out the composition, organization, and operating procedures of the National Commission for Higher Education Coordination and its standing committees.
Another would amend the decree governing the mandates of higher education institutions, postgraduate programs, and the national diplomas awarded for them.
The sixth concerns implementation of Articles 30, 42, 48 and 53 of the law on higher education and scientific research.
The Council will also examine an agreement with Niger on sentenced persons, signed in Niamey on April 8, along with a draft law approving the agreement.
The meeting will end with proposals for appointments to senior positions under Article 92 of the Constitution.
