King offers luncheon in honor of Prime minister of France, accompanying delegation

The French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, and his accompanying delegation visited the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat

King Mohammed VI offered on Thursday in Rabat a luncheon in honor of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and his accompanying delegation, chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.

The luncheon was attended by French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, as well as members of Lecornu’s delegation.

Also invited were Rachid Talbi El Alami, speaker of the House of Representatives; Omar Azziman and Omar Kabbaj, advisers to King Mohammed VI; Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit; and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita.

Akhannouch and Lecornu co-chaired the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting, held to further consolidate the reinforced exceptional partnership between Morocco and France under the leadership of the two heads of state, King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The session culminated in the signing of several cooperation and partnership agreements.
