The Interior Ministry said voter turnout in Wednesday’s legislative elections had reached 21% nationwide by 3pm, as polling continued across the country.
The figure was compiled from reports submitted by prefectures, provinces and district prefectures as voters cast their ballots to elect members of the House of Representatives.
According to information gathered from polling stations nationwide, voting was proceeding under “normal and regular conditions,” the ministry said.
