During this meeting, which took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Rabat, the two officials praised the excellent historic ties between the two Kingdoms and their satisfactory cooperation in the military field.
Furthermore, the two officials reviewed the track record of their military cooperation, marked by the regular holding of the joint military commission, the exchange of visits by high-ranking officials, military training, as well as the strengthening of interoperability within the framework of joint exercises.
This cooperation is based on an important legal framework, notably the 1993 Framework Agreement for Military and Technical Cooperation, the 2013 Status of Forces Agreement and Mutual Support (SOFA), as well as other technical arrangements.
During this encounter, Loudyi highlighted the various South-South cooperation and regional integration initiatives launched under the vision of aKing Mohammed IV, positioning the Kingdom of Morocco as a dynamic actor for shared stability and prosperity for the benefit of the African continent.
For his part, the British military official praised the leadership of His Majesty the King, positioning the Kingdom of Morocco as an actor for peace and stability, particularly in the MENA region.
At the end of these talks, both parties expressed their shared ambition and willingness to consolidate this partnership in the future and to further strengthen bilateral military cooperation relations.
