Before delivering her speech, the party’s collective leadership coordinator congratulated Fouzi Lekjaa, describing him as a “militant and a man of the people” and praising his academic and professional achievements. Speaking at the official investment ceremony for the party’s regional candidates, she pledged to promote more balanced development between major urban centers and rural areas.
El Mansouri recalled that since its creation, the PAM has charted its course “step by step”around a constant commitment to “doing politics differently,” by prioritizing local action and actively listening to citizens. She stressed that the party remains “fully aware of the scale of the challenges and constraints” facing the country, foremost among them the need to establish genuine “territorial and social justice.”
Speaking about the recent migration-related events in Ceuta and Melilla, the political leader attributed them to “a crisis of confidence between young people, institutions, and society.” To address this, she said the PAM advocates a new social contract focused on young people, whom she said have “considerable potential to contribute to the development of the Kingdom.”
The PAM is expected to formally announce Fouzi Lekjaa’s candidacy at a party gathering in Berkane ahead of the legislative elections scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
