At just 15, Moroccan striker Akram Jadid has been invited by Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim to train with AC Milan’s first team, marking a significant step in the young forward’s rapid ascent at the Italian club, TV Monde Info reported Friday.
“Born in 2011 in Brescia, the player nicknamed ‘Gol Akram’ was invited to train with Milan’s first team. This initial session at Milanello, AC Milan’s training center, does not signify a professional contract, but it demonstrates the strong interest Milan’s management has in the 15-year-old prospect,” the French broadcaster wrote on its website.
Jadid, who holds both Italian and Moroccan nationality, has chosen to represent Morocco internationally and has already played for the country’s U16 team, the same source reported. The young striker is also credited with scoring 700 goals since beginning his football career.
The article stated that Jadid joined AC Milan’s academy in 2022 and is now a regular starter for the club’s U18 side, known as the Primavera.
Describing his development as “meteoric,” the report highlighted that Jadid scored 32 goals in 32 matches during the 2024-2025 season, finishing as the top scorer in his age group. The young forward is highly effective in front of goal and can also drop into a No. 10 role to create chances for his teammates, the report noted.
Jadid also recently won the Italian U15 championship with Milan in Empoli after a 2-0 victory, with “Gol Akram” once again finding the net.
