According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Monday, August 10, Ayyoub Bouaddi and his representatives have agreed terms with Manchester City, a transfer that continues to attract attention during the summer window.

Manchester City officials are now expected to engage with their counterparts at Lille to finalize the transfer as quickly as possible.

The same source indicates that the player prefers an immediate move to the English club rather than waiting another season. A potential one-year loan back to Lille was reportedly discussed during negotiations.

Bouaddi, 18, is under contract with the French club until June 30, 2029.

While several media outlets have reported a transfer fee of around €100 million, the Atlas Lions midfielder could become the most expensive Moroccan player in history.
