The decision comes as the FRMF works to establish a national regulatory framework governing the organization and management of private football academies and schools across the Kingdom. The federation said the measure follows studies of the organizational and strategic mechanisms underpinning football development in Morocco.
Under the new rules, private academies and football schools must operate under their own identities rather than adopting the name of a foreign club, even where an official partnership or another form of relationship exists between the two, the federation said in a statement published Sunday on its website.
The FRMF said the measure is intended to strengthen national training and supervision while establishing the autonomy of Morocco-based private academies and football schools, in line with the country’s broader strategy for football development.
The federation added that the framework is designed to support the development of new generations of footballers within an integrated national training environment.
