Egypt and Angola have booked their places in the semifinals of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, hosted by Morocco from October 12 to 21, after securing their second consecutive wins in Group B on Thursday.

Angola advanced after beating Tanzania 6-0 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Hall in Rabat to move onto six points, level with Egypt, who earlier in the day defeated Mozambique 4-0.

Egypt opened their campaign with an emphatic 8-0 win over Tanzania, while Angola beat Mozambique 5-1 in the first round.

The results confirmed both teams’ places in the last four, while Mozambique and Tanzania remain without a point.

Egypt and Angola will meet on Saturday in a decisive clash for first place in Group B. The runners-up will face Morocco, the Group A winners, in the semifinals.

Morocco, the defending champions, secured top spot in their group and a semifinal place after beating Zambia 7-0 on Wednesday in the second round.

Group B will conclude on Saturday with Egypt vs Angola and Mozambique vs Tanzania.
