Moroccan internationals Achraf Hakimi and Gessime Yassine have been named in French sports daily L’Équipe’s team of the week for Matchday 9 of Ligue 1, published on Tuesday, November 3.
Hakimi, PSG’s right-back and captain, received a rating of 9 out of 10 for his historic display in Friday’s 5-1 win over Le Havre. He scored the first hat-trick of his career and provided two assists, playing a part in all five of Paris Saint-Germain’s goals.
His coach, Luis Enrique, was full of praise after the performance. “He is the best right-back in the world, but I am not particularly excited to see him score three goals. What I like is seeing him consistently perform at the highest level, always ready. That means a lot to our team.”
Yassine received a rating of 8 out of 10 after scoring twice in Strasbourg’s 5-1 win over Auxerre on Sunday. He also provided an assist and won a penalty. The Moroccan has impressed this season and leads Ligue 1’s dribbling charts with 26 successful dribbles.

The win was particularly important for Strasbourg, who had lost four consecutive matches. Yassine and his teammates can now approach Friday’s match against Toulouse with greater confidence.
