France Football has announced that Moroccan rapper French Montana will give a special performance at the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, scheduled for Monday, October 26, in London.
The Casablanca-born artist regularly performs at major sporting events. He appeared at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco alongside RedOne and Nigerian singer Davido, and also contributed to the official album for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Organizers have also announced that British singer Jorja Smith will perform during the highly anticipated ceremony.
France Football previously announced that the 70th edition of the ceremony will be hosted by Thierry Henry, a nine-time Ballon d’Or nominee who finished second in 2003, and British journalist Kate Scott.
The ceremony will also be available to watch for free on the DAZN platform, with viewers only required to sign in.
Morocco captain and Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi is among the 30 nominees for the Ballon d’Or. Yassine Bounou is in contention for the Yashin Trophy, awarded to the best goalkeeper, while Ayyoub Bouaddi has been nominated for the Kopa Trophy, which recognizes the best player under the age of 21.
