Moroccan golfer Adam Bresnu has risen to third in the PGA Tour University Ranking for the 2027 class and reached No. 13 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), setting a new record for a Moroccan or Arab amateur golfer.
The progress follows his recent victory at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational, held on September 28 and 29, 2026, at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation said Friday.
Bresnu won his first individual title in NCAA Division I with a total score of 203 strokes, seven under par. The victory lifted him six places in the PGA Tour University Ranking, the federation said.
The win also earned him an exemption to compete in the Charles Schwab Challenge, a PGA Tour event scheduled for May 27-30, 2027.
His rise in the U.S. collegiate rankings strengthens his prospects of reaching the professional circuits. The PGA Tour University Ranking gives the highest-ranked players at the end of the season opportunities to join tours affiliated with the PGA Tour.
