Rabat’s official FIFA World Cup 2026 fan zone has been relocated to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium after overwhelming public demand, allowing tens of thousands more supporters to watch Morocco’s quarter-final against France.
The Rabat Live Arena, initially scheduled to take place at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium, will now be held at the larger Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on July 9. Fans will gather from 9 p.m. to watch Morocco face France in one of the biggest matches of the country’s World Cup campaign.
The relocation follows strong demand for tickets and will make the event the largest football fan zone ever hosted in Africa, according to Rabat Live Arena.
The event, managed by Rabat Grand Arena, combines a public match screening with a festival atmosphere. Visitors will have access to food and drink areas, fan villages, DJs and live performances before kickoff.
The match will be shown on a giant LED screen with stadium-quality sound, with the venue expected to accommodate up to 66,000 fans.
Moroccan rappers Stormy and Toto have been confirmed as the first artists on the lineup, while additional performers and the full programme will be announced in the coming days.
