Saibari’s Bayern Munich adventure has officially begun. The Morocco international made his first appearance for his new club on Saturday, August 15, during the friendly against RB Leipzig.
The Atlas Lion came onto the pitch in the 69th minute, making his first appearance for his new team just days before the start of the season.
A few minutes after coming on, Saibari provided an assist for his teammate Jamal Musiala, who scored the third and final goal of the friendly.
His appearance also marked the end of a difficult period for the Moroccan attacking midfielder. Injured during the 2026 World Cup, Saibari had to follow a rehabilitation program that forced him to miss Bayern’s Asian tour.
After several weeks of work under the supervision of the club’s medical staff, the Moroccan returned to team training last Monday. Now recovered, he can gradually regain his match fitness and continue his integration into Vincent Kompany’s squad.
Saibari joined Bayern this summer from PSV Eindhoven and has now made his first appearance for the German club. It is a first step for the 25-year-old before the start of the official season.
