In a statement published on its official website, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced that Vilda will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
The press conference will focus on presenting the final list of players selected for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 26 to August 16.
Morocco will host the tournament for the third consecutive time. This edition will also be the first to feature 16 teams, up from 12 in previous tournaments.
The Atlas Lionesses have been drawn in Group A alongside Senegal, Algeria and Kenya. After finishing as runners-up in the last two editions—losing to South Africa in 2022 and Nigeria in 2025—Vilda’s side will be aiming to claim the first continental title in their history.
