Miami will host the final stage of the 2027 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, FIFA announced Sunday, September 20, with the competition’s four remaining teams set to meet in the US city in January.
Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium, which opened in April, will host both semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the final of the second edition of the tournament. Arsenal Women FC won the inaugural edition.
Miami has hosted several major football events in recent years, including eight matches at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and seven during the United-2026 World Cup.
The tournament will begin with a first-round clash between AFC champions Naegohyang Women’s FC and OFC champions Auckland United FC. The winner will then face the CAF champions in the second round.
The African champions have yet to be determined, with the CAF Women’s Champions League scheduled to be played later this year. AS FAR and FUS are among the teams already qualified for the competition.
The winner of the second round will take on Concacaf champions Club América Femenil in one of the semi-finals in Miami. The other semi-final will pit UEFA champions FC Barcelona Femení against the reigning CONMEBOL champions.
The final is scheduled for Sunday, January 31. FIFA will announce the full match schedule at a later date.
