Royal Air Maroc is stepping up efforts to enable more Moroccan supporters to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-final between Morocco and France, scheduled for Thursday, July 9, in Boston.
In a statement released on Monday, July 6, the national airline announced that it was expanding its flight program following the strong demand for the first batch of special flights unveiled the previous day.
“In response to the overwhelming demand for the special flights connecting Casablanca to Boston launched yesterday (...), the national carrier is strengthening its schedule by adding additional special flights to both Boston and New York,” Royal Air Maroc said.
The airline noted that the new services complement the flights already announced. “Additional direct special flights will operate between Casablanca and Boston to meet the exceptionally high demand ahead of Thursday’s match,” the statement added.
In addition to Boston, Royal Air Maroc is also offering supporters another travel option through direct flights to New York. “To allow as many fans as possible to experience another historic moment alongside our Atlas Lions, the national carrier will also operate special direct flights between Casablanca and New York,” the airline said.
Departures are scheduled between July 6 and July 9, while return flights will operate from July 10 to July 19, giving supporters greater flexibility for their trip to the United States.
As with the initial flight program, ticket prices will remain unchanged. “Tickets will be offered at a fixed fare of MAD 10,000 in economy class. They will be valid for specific travel dates and will be non-changeable and non-refundable. This fixed fare applies to both the Boston and New York special flights,” Royal Air Maroc said.
The airline added that tickets would go on sale from 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6, through Royal Air Maroc’s commercial agencies across Morocco and via its dedicated online booking platform.
