Sofyan Amrabat reportedly reaches verbal agreement with Ajax

Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat is close to joining Ajax after reaching a reported verbal agreement with the Dutch club, following the termination of his contract with Turkish side Fenerbahçe by mutual consent.

Free agent Sofyan Amrabat could join Ajax before the end of the summer transfer window. The Atlas Lion has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the Dutch club.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Amrabat has reached a verbal agreement with Ajax. The contractual terms have reportedly been agreed, while the Moroccan midfielder left Fenerbahçe as a free agent.

Fenerbahçe announced on Saturday that the Moroccan international midfielder’s contract had been terminated by mutual agreement.
