Union Touarga will compete in the Botola Pro again next season after defeating Jeunesse El Massira 3-0 on Tuesday in the second leg of the promotion-relegation playoffs. The Rabat club sealed a 4-1 aggregate victory after the first meeting between the two sides had ended in a 1-1 draw.
For much of the match, Jeunesse El Massira remained in contention, having held Union Touarga in the first leg. However, the visitors broke the deadlock late on through Walid Rhailouf in the 86th minute. Omar Arjoune doubled the lead four minutes later before Mohamed Fouzair added a third goal in the 96th minute.
The result means Union Touarga retain their place in Morocco’s first division for the 2026-27 campaign, while Jeunesse El Massira’s hopes of returning to the Botola Pro were put on hold for another season. The club from Laâyoune will continue in Botola Pro 2 after losing 4-1 on aggregate.
Elsewhere, Amal Tiznit secured promotion to the Botola Pro for the first time in the club’s history after drawing 1-1 with Olympique Dcheira in the return leg of their playoff tie.
After a goalless draw in the first leg, Olympique Dcheira moved ahead in the 58th minute through Younes Khafi at the municipal stadium in Berrechid. Amal Tiznit responded nine minutes later when Zakaria Salhi found the equalizer, a goal that proved decisive in the race for promotion.
The draw sealed a historic promotion for Amal Tiznit, while Olympique Dcheira were relegated to Botola Pro 2.
