A heated meeting between professional club presidents and the LNFP on Monday, August 17, over the proposed expansion of the Botola to 20 teams ended without consensus. Seventeen clubs voted in favor of the expansion, while seven opposed it and three abstained. According to multiple sources, the lack of unanimity could prevent the reform from moving to the next stage and being submitted to the FRMF Executive Committee.
