After Thursday’s opening game in Mohammedia, the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi” 2026-2027 season continues Saturday, September 26, with three matches on the schedule. Union Touarga and FUS Rabat will open the day with a capital derby, followed by Difaâ El Jadida against COD Meknès and Wydad Casablanca’s first appearance of the season against newly promoted Wydad Temara.
The championship officially got underway Thursday at El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia, where newly promoted Amal Tiznit lost 3-1 to Ittihad Tanger in its first top-flight match.
Saad Ait Khorsa put Ittihad Tanger ahead in the ninth minute, but Soufiane El Azhari restored parity for Amal Tiznit just before halftime in the 45th minute plus two. The Tangier side then took control after the break, with Abdelhamid Maali scoring in the 47th minute before Ibrahima Dieng added a third in the 55th minute to secure the first three points of the season.
The first matchday now continues Saturday, with the opening kickoff scheduled for 16:00.
A Rabat derby to open the day
Union Touarga and FUS Rabat will get the day underway with a Rabat derby as both sides look to make a positive start to the season and collect their first points.
At 18:00, Difaâ El Jadida will host COD Meknès. The home side will look to use its opening game to start the new campaign on a positive note, while the Meknès club will also be aiming to leave with points.
Wydad Casablanca will then begin its campaign at 20:00 against newly promoted Wydad Temara. The game will offer an early indication of where the Casablanca club stands after its preseason preparations and the many changes made to the squad during the offseason.
The first matchday will continue Sunday with three more games. Moghreb Tétouan will host Renaissance Berkane at 16:00, followed by Maghreb Fès against Renaissance Zemamra at 18:00 and Kawkab Marrakech against Hassania Agadir at 20:00.
One of the main fixtures of the opening matchday, between AS FAR and Raja Casablanca, will not take place this weekend. The National Professional Football League has postponed the match to a later date.
