Competition to Select Morocco’s Team

Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, in partnership with the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing, and Urban Policy, is organizing a competition to select the project that will represent the Kingdom.

The winning team will be tasked with presenting a work that reflects the excellence of Moroccan architecture, demonstrates its deep roots in local communities and territories, and showcases its commitment to sustainability.

The competition aims to appoint a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, and building Morocco’s pavilion, drawing from the country’s national architectural expertise.

The competition will take place in two phases. The first phase will conclude with a submission deadline of August 10, 2026. A jury composed of recognized experts from various fields will shortlist five projects at the end of this stage. The second phase will then select the winning proposal.

Interested candidates can consult the Ministry’s website for participation requirements and submit their applications between Monday, July 27, 2026, and Monday, August 10, 2026.
