The European Union imported €2.66 billion worth of agri-food products from Morocco between January and July 2026, up €39 million, or 1%, from €2.62 billion a year earlier, according to the European Commission’s latest report on EU agri-food trade, published Monday, September 28.
In 2025, EU imports from Morocco reached €3.753 billion, up 8.5% from €3.460 billion a year earlier. Morocco ranked as the EU’s 12th-largest agri-food supplier, accounting for 2% of total imports. Brazil was the bloc’s largest supplier, with a 10% share worth €18.6 billion, followed by the United Kingdom at 8% (€16 billion) and the United States at 7% (€13.2 billion). Ukraine accounted for 6% (€10.6 billion), while China supplied 5% (€9.9 billion).

EU agri-food exports to Morocco fell in the first seven months of 2026. From January through July, the EU exported €1.990 billion worth of agri-food products to Morocco, down from €2.212 billion during the same period in 2025. That was a decline of €223 million, or 10%. For the full year, EU exports to Morocco reached €3.785 billion in 2025, up 4% from €3.634 billion in 2024.
Morocco accounted for 2% of total EU agri-food exports. The United Kingdom was the bloc’s largest export market in 2025, accounting for 23% (€55.7 billion), followed by the United States at 12% (€28.6 billion), Switzerland at 6% (€13.1 billion) and China at 5% (€12.6 billion).
