In a statement, the ministry said the initiative aims to give Moroccans living abroad a closer look at investment opportunities available across Morocco’s regions and provide them with hands-on support to develop their ideas, turn them into projects and ultimately bring successful investments to reality.
The ministry said the initiative is part of the royal vision of King Mohammed VI, which places particular importance on mobilizing the skills, talent and investment of Moroccans living abroad and making them a key driver of the country’s economic, social and territorial development.
The latest edition also comes as part of efforts to continue implementing the Investment Charter, which seeks to strengthen the attractiveness of Morocco’s regions, encourage productive investment, facilitate the investor journey and ensure a more balanced distribution of investment nationwide.

In this context, the ministry said a number of investment support mechanisms have been introduced for different categories of investors, including a dedicated mechanism to support very small, small and medium-sized enterprises, given their role in regional development, innovation and job creation.
Over four days, regional investment centers will welcome Moroccans living abroad interested in learning more about the economic potential of Morocco’s regions, which offer promising opportunities and can meet their investment ambitions and project plans.
The program will notably include meetings with regional investment center officials, sessions explaining investment support and incentive mechanisms, presentations on sector-specific and regional investment opportunities, as well as meetings with various stakeholders in local economic ecosystems.
Projects led by very small, small and medium-sized enterprises will receive particular attention. Project owners will be able to learn about eligibility requirements, available forms of support and the mechanisms in place to assist them.
