Morocco’s automotive exports reached MAD 93.65 billion by the end of June 2026, marking a 17.4% increase compared with the same period last year, according to the Foreign Exchange Office.

In its latest monthly report on foreign trade indicators, the Office announced that performance was driven by increased sales in the construction segment, which rose 26.7% to MAD 37.93 billion, and the wiring segment, which increased 13.9% to MAD 35.05 billion.

The aerospace industry also demonstrated strong growth, with exports rising 19.3% to MAD 17.32 billion. This increase was supported by a 24.7% rise in assembly exports and an 8.6% increase in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).

Conversely, exports from the textiles and leather sector declined by 6.5%, while electronics and electrical exports fell 4.4%. The report also noted a 2.3% drop in exports of phosphates and their derivatives.

Meanwhile, the agriculture and agri-food sector recorded a 5.7% increase in exports.

Overall, Morocco’s exports rose 9.7% by the end of June, reaching MAD 260.39 billion.
