Few video game releases have generated as much anticipation as Grand Theft Auto VI. With players around the world waiting for Rockstar Games’ next installment in the blockbuster franchise, the company has now joined forces with Netflix to give audiences another glimpse of the game before its launch.

As part of the partnership, Netflix will host a special presentation dedicated to GTA VI, giving viewers an extended preview of the game and a closer look at its world and gameplay ahead of its release. Titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the presentation will be available on August 27 at 3 p.m. ET (8 p.m. Moroccan time). Rockstar Games and Netflix have not yet disclosed the full details of what the preview will include.

The event comes less than three months before GTA VI is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. Rockstar has already released trailers introducing the game’s world and its two main characters, Jason and Lucia, but the extended presentation is expected to offer more footage ahead of the release.

The game is set in Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida. Jason and Lucia find themselves caught up in a criminal conspiracy after an attempted robbery goes wrong, forcing the pair to rely on each other as they try to survive.

GTA VI arrives 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V, which was released in 2013 and went on to become one of the most successful video games ever made. GTA V has sold more than 225 million units worldwide, while the Grand Theft Auto series as a whole has sold more than 465 million units.
