Honey Singh announced the upcoming Moroccan-Indian collaboration in an Instagram post featuring a photo of himself with Jilane and Beethoven. “Moroccan-Indian collaboration coming soon,” he wrote.

Honey Singh and El Badaoui collaborated on the song “Majnoun,” which combines Moroccan and Indian influences, with El Badaoui contributing to the lyrics, composition and vocals. The pair also released another track, “Khair.”
Honey Singh has also collaborated with Moroccan singer Abdelfattah Grini on another Indian-Moroccan musical project, further expanding his ties to the country’s artists and music.

His connection with Morocco extends beyond musical collaborations. In late 2023, he chose Casablanca as the setting for the music video for his song “Habibi.”
During his visit to Morocco, Honey Singh also shared videos of himself performing some of his best-known songs, including “Lungi Dance” with rhythms inspired by Gnawa music. He was also seen wearing a Moroccan caftan inside a traditional riad.
