Here follows a statement by the Royal Office:
«I have followed with great concern and indignation the news of the abject Iranian missile attacks that targeted the territory of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as a continuation of Iran’s hostile attitude toward your brotherly country as well as the Arab Gulf States, » says HM the King in this message.
The Sovereign, may God glorify Him, adds that « in the face of this serious event, I express to your Majesty my strong condemnation and firm rejection of this unjustified criminal aggression, which seeks to undermine the stability of your brotherly country and the security and safety of the proud Jordanian people. »
His Majesty the King also reiterated in His message « the Kingdom of Morocco’s full solidarity with the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its steadfast and unconditional support for all measures taken by the Jordanian authorities, under your wise leadership, to defend Jordan’s security and stability and the safety of its citizens, affirming to your Majesty that Jordan’s security is inseparable from Morocco’s. »
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him, reiterated His confidence that « the proud Jordanian people, under your wise leadership, will overcome the repercussions of these heinous attacks, with the determination, solidarity and composure for which they are known. »
